The Square Morchino Side Table showcases the stunning elegance of Morchino marble, known for its striking blend of grey and white tones, with subtle veining that creates a sophisticated finish. The natural marble makes every piece unique, and the top rests on a sleek aluminium base finished in antique brass. The Morchino collection is available in side tables in 44 cm and 55 cm sizes, as well as a 70 cm square coffee table. This is natural marble, quarried from mountains in Rajasthan, India. As an organic material, it is prone to variations in colour, pattern and density, all of which are hallmarks of its beauty and charm.
Marble is formed from the recrystallisation of limestone under intense pressure and high temperatures within the earth over thousands of years. During this process, the minerals introduced into the structure produce the beautiful colours and veining which characterise natural marble and differentiate it from synthetic substitutes. These variations are the essence of one of the world’s most beautiful organic materials.
