Delivery Information
We use a specially selected group of carriers to ensure your get the best delivery service for your order. Where delivery is stated in days or weeks, these are working days and not consecutive calendar days. The first working day following your order date is day one. You’ll receive an email from our carriers or directly from our delivery team when your order is despatched.

Delivery Charges
We offer delivery to all UK addresses, with thousands of products available at no extra charge. UK mainland delivery is charged as follows;
Delivery on orders under £200 is £10
Delivery on orders £200+ is £20
Specialist 2 Man Delivery to room of choice including removal and disposal of packaging £30
Specialist 2 Man Delivery to room of choice including assembly removal and disposal of packaging £40
For Highlands and Islands, surcharges are calculated based on your postcode at checkout.
Delivery Types
1 Person Delivery
Delivery is by 1-person courier service. The lead time will be displayed on the product page.
This is an all-day, weekday service. You will receive tracking information when your order is despatched. On the day of delivery, a 2-hour delivery slot will be provided.
If you are out when the driver attempts to deliver your furniture they will leave a card with simple options for re-delivery. Alternatively, if there is a safe place to leave your item, just add the info in your basket in the “notes and instructions” box.
Delivery is to the main door of the building only. Please be aware, that if you live in a flat or have a shared entrance, the driver will only deliver your order to this entrance, not to the entrance to your flat. If you require extra assistance, you may be able to upgrade to our enhanced 2 Person service for an additional fee - please contact us to discuss this.

2 Person Room of Choice Delivery
Delivery will be carried out by a two-person delivery team. This service is to a room of choice (as long as it is safe to do so).
In preparation for a 2 Person Room of Choice delivery, we recommend that the route from the delivery van to your room of choice is free from obstacles. You might also want to ensure items hanging on walls are removed and floors are protected (old sheets are good for this).
Please be aware that 2 Person Room of Choice deliveries to flats or apartments above the 2nd floor without access to a lift will be delivered subject to the drivers' discretion and if they feel it is safe to do so.
Pallet Service
Used for our extra large, heavy or bulky items such as kitchen islands or larder units, and selected postcodes. Delivery is to the kerbside or driveway only. Be sure you have a helping hand as you are responsible for the item once it’s unloaded from the vehicle by the driver.
Collection from Showroom
It is possible to collect items, free of delivery charge, from our Reading Showeroom location (RG48BA) which is open 7 days a week. Please contact us on 01189472333 or email us at: deliveries@hopofurniture.com so that we can advise on details of this service. Free customer parking is available.
Non-Mainland UK/Europe
We can arrange delivery to Northern Ireland, Republic Of Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Isle of Scilly.* Please email or call us for our delivery charges and to confirm the delivery options we can offer.
Area Surcharges
We try to offer delivery to as much of the UK as possible. Unfortunately, due to the high surcharges made to us by the delivery firms we can’t offer this to the whole of the UK.
*A surcharge may be applied to the following postcodes: BT, AB, DD, HS, IM, IV, KA, KW PA, PH, ZE
Non-UK mainland locations will also incur a surcharge and are quoted on a case by case basis to ensure we get the best price possible for you.
We will always work to keep any surcharge to an absolute minimum for our customers.
Unsuitable items being sent back for either exchange or a refund must be returned in a fully re-saleable condition in the original, unmarked, and undamaged packaging or a suitable alternative. Furniture must not have been used or assembled & mattresses must be inside the protective wrapping. All parts must be returned in the packaging, along with any instructions.
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse the collection of any unpackaged item and to deduct a fee for any item not returned in fully re-saleable condition upon inspection when received.
We will inspect the returned item and will notify you of your refund or replacement via email. We try to process returns as soon as possible once they have reached our warehouse. However, please allow 3 to 10 working days from the day of receipt in our warehouse for your returns to be processed.
Items returned will incur the below charges per item for collection & administration costs:
Small Items – Lamp Tables, Bedside Tables, Nests of Tables, Lamps & Mirrors
