Our Bergen,with it's ergonomically designed, positive back supporting, "deeper" curved twin slat back is our most successful and popular dining chair ever. Like any really good chair design, there are many who try to replicate it and, though we would say so wouldn't we, there are an almost equal number of inferior examples out there as a result. But with this chair, especially, it genuinely is a case of needing to appreciate the differences and the quality. The bend on the back slats of our chair is greater than many and, therefore, hits the spot (quite literally) just right. Because that curve is extremely difficult and exacting to make, virtually no one else even tries, resulting, we feel, in an inferior chair in both look and posture.
